→ Each customer who wishes to return his or her order has 14 days from the date of receipt of the order to make a return.

For this, the customer is required to submit a request via the contact form, indicating the order number.

→ Should an item have a manufacturing defect or non-conformity, it is imperative to contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order. After this time, the order is deemed compliant.

Detailed return policy:

If the buyer changes his/her mind and wishes to obtain refund of his/her order, he/she has 14 days from the date of receipt of his/her order to send his/her return request to Customer Service, via the contact form. If the 14-day period normally expires on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it shall be extended to the next business day.

If an item should happen to be defective, the buyer has 48 hours after receiving the order to contact Customer Service. In such a situation, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) by email (description and photos attached) to Customer Service first via the contact form "Contact Us".

If the buyer has been offered an item for their order for any reason, such as a package misplaced and undelivered, abnormal delay in delivery, special offer or donation, and they wish to make a return of part or all of said order, then the buyer will need to return the item that was offered as well.

In the event of a return, Chef-apron® is obliged to reimburse the sums paid by the customer, with the exception of the return shipping costs. The shipping costs (return shipping costs) are the responsibility of the buyer and are not refundable. It is therefore the responsibility of the customer to pay their own shipping costs to return their item to Canada, where the company Chef-apron is located, to the return address that will be communicated to the buyer by the Customer Service. Any shipping costs such as for secure delivery are not refundable.

If the return is being made (sent) from outside of Canada (United States, Europe), the buyer is responsible for ensuring that any potential taxes and duties are covered when paying for their return. Only returns that arrive directly at their destination are processed, without any customs formalities or payment from Chef-apron. Any customs fees submitted to chef-apron's attention will be deducted from the refund or result in the package being refused.

The refund of the order is due within a maximum of 10 business days from the date of receipt of the returned package(s).

This policy applies to any item sold on the Chef-apron website with the exception of personalized items. Customized items cannot be returned.
